Traditional two-layer or three-layer knitted fabrics, due to prolonged use, peel off or lose many microfibers into the drainage during washing due to their loose knitting structure. STORMFLEECE, with its unique single-layer plain weave brushed structure, tightly binds the fibers together, significantly reducing the likelihood of shedding.
A single-layer brushed fleece means no foam coating, no adhesives in between. It also means the fabric only needs to be dyed once. This cuts down several steps in production, saving precious energy and water resources.
